Measuring For Awnings
First, do you have wood frame around your window? If so, you might want to mount your awning on these. If not, then you will be mounting on the outside of the frame, on the siding itself. The top bar should ideally be mounted flush with the lower bar for an even mount.
How much of the window should be covered?
If your window faces the east or the west and you wish to block out low sun, allow up to 50% coverage of the window depth.
Facing south or north, allow up to 30% of the window depth.
Mounting your own Retractable Awnings
Your choice of style and colour from our range "Sunbrella" or "Dickson", Solutions dyed fabrics. Awnings will conserve energy by shading the windows and will also protect crapes and furnishings from undue fading. Independent testing has shown that awnings can block up to 75% of the suns harmful U.V. Rays and heat reducing a rooms temperature by 8 - 15 degrees (F).
The "Traditional" awning, is available in a number of widths and projections up to 3 ft. These sturdy, steel framed awnings, once properly mounted will give decades of useful and reliable service.
Our fabrics are mold and mildew resistant, but might require cleaning every so often. No Problem! The awning is easily removed and is machine washable. Instructions come with every awning.
Mounting The Awnings
Instructions come with each awning, allow 30 minutes to install an awning. Only basic tools are required.

Allow 2 weeks for delivery. In most cases, shipping will be prepaid for your convenience.
