Final Flight

Hand Appliqued & Hand Quilted 39" X 46" Wall Quilt

Final Flight was made into a poster in 1989. Some of these posters were donated to the Wilderness Committee and generally given to people who liked it. A verse that was written for "Final Flight" and is transposed on the poster is as follows:

You Are for Us, A symbol of
Power, Strength and Freedom.

We are Learning to protect you,
though we have crowded and polluted
your existence.

We have to now look beyond and
save you from making that
FINAL FLIGHT.
